Niagara 4 End-of-Life Checklist

1. Inventory every station: version, host type (JACE-8000/9000, Supervisor, Edge), OS.
2. Check each version on the Am I patched? page.
3. Verify Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) status per host.
4. Move to 4.15 (LTS, updates planned through Q3 2028) where possible.
5. Order any remaining JACE-8000 hardware before December 31, 2026 (Americas, MEA, APAC).
6. Inventory third-party modules and drivers; ask vendors about N5 compatibility.
7. Identify Px pages built with Lucid/Zebra; plan for N5 UI changes.
8. Back up stations and document network architecture before migration.
9. Bench test N5 once available; plan mixed-version Supervisor rollout.
