Niagara Edge 10 End of Life: Last Time Buy and Support Dates, plus R2R and Remote IO

Short answer: Tridium's planned last time buy (LTB) for the Niagara Edge 10 was December 31, 2025 in EMEA. For the US and Asia-Pacific it is December 31, 2026, per Tridium's November 2025 newsletter. An earlier newsletter said June 30, 2026. Edge 10 hardware support is planned to end July 2028. R2R and Remote IO modules have the same planned July 2028 end of hardware support. All dates are Tridium's planned dates and subject to availability.

Edge 10: last time buy by region and end of hardware support
EMEA's planned LTB was December 31, 2025. US/APAC's planned LTB is December 31, 2026. Hardware support is planned to end July 2028. Tridium's January 2025 newsletter prints that line as "Niagara 10 End of Hardware Support"; we read it as the Edge 10. A last time buy depends on stock and is not guaranteed.
Why there are two US/APAC dates
Tridium's January 2025 newsletter gave June 30, 2026. Its November 2025 newsletter gives December 31, 2026. The later document is the current plan, so we list December 31, 2026 as current and keep the older date visible in case you planned around it.
R2R and Remote IO modules
Planned LTB was December 2025 in EMEA and is June 30, 2026 in US/APAC. Hardware support is planned to end July 2028. Tridium's Niagara Access data sheet says the modules are supported on the JACE-9000 with Niagara 4.14 and later.
Enterprise Security enclosures
Small, medium and large enclosures had a planned LTB of December 2025. We found no end-of-support date for the enclosures.
How this lines up with the JACE-8000 and Niagara 4
The JACE-8000 has the same planned July 2028 end of hardware support: see JACE-8000 end of life. Niagara 4 software support is a separate date: see Niagara 4 end of support.
Questions
When is the Niagara Edge 10 last time buy?
Planned for December 31, 2025 in EMEA and December 31, 2026 in US/APAC, subject to availability. An earlier Tridium newsletter gave June 30, 2026 for US/APAC.
When does Edge 10 hardware support end?
Planned for July 2028.
Can the Edge 10 run Niagara 5?
We found no Tridium document that says. One third party (Tyrrell) says Niagara 4.15 is the Edge 10's final version. That is unverified; confirm with Tridium or your vendor.
When do R2R and Remote IO modules reach end of life?
Planned last time buy June 30, 2026 in US/APAC (December 2025 in EMEA), and planned end of hardware support July 2028.
Do R2R and Remote IO modules work with the JACE-9000?
Tridium's Niagara Access data sheet says they are supported on the JACE-9000 with Niagara 4.14 and later.
